Spring is Compost time.
One of my favorite things to do in the spring is turn, my compost rows. It means the frost is gone, and things will start to grow again. After I turn the rows, I always grab a handful of compost and give it a smell. It lets me know that the compost is ready for the customers, and of course, for my garden. A couple days of turning to dry it out, then off to the screener to get it ready for sale. We have it stored inside this year so rain or shine.
